Where bedtime reading turned into a treasury

NurseryRhymes.info started the way so many good things do: at bedtime, with a well-worn book and a child asking "but what does it mean?" We didn't always know the answer, so we went looking.
What began as curiosity grew into a passion project. A place to collect nursery rhymes and fairy tales in one home: the complete lyrics, their origins, and what is known of the history behind each one.
